after comparing the bb to the q1, the bb is definitely the better pump btw.

I also purchased one of these cs200. I am quiet pleased with it .I replaced my MRC skimmer.This one is silent compared to the MRC.

well i took alot into consideration currently i have a i-tech 200 on a 150 gal i like it but i'm going to have to do a diy and attach a float switch to the cup for overflows, which happen today, what a mess!

but i'm doing a 36x24x20 shallow reef tank with a 20 long sump and after careful thought i chose the royal reef because of the (q1) pump, i was between the extreme 160 and the swc minis cone and i did not want to happen was that the stand might break on those skimmer and i certainly didn't want to deal with start up issues.

i got the cs200 for 359.00 shipped the prices after dec/25 will go back to 349.99. i will keep you posted when i do my build thread.
