Coral Dip VS Anemone

So I obviously know you're not supposed to used CoralRX on Anemones.

My questions are:
1. Can anemones transfer pests from tank to tank?
2. Is there a way to prevent that?

the only thing im aware of ... is they can transfer bacterial infection from tank to tank.. (from one unhealthy anemone to another healthy anemone...)

ive delt with it in personal experiences... where I had an established anemone, and put a new un-quarantined anemone right into the display tank and saw both go threw the inflate/deflate cycle... and both ended up dead... (when I was a newer reefer and less experienced.)

I believe I've had similar problems... Do you have any experience with leaving your system free of anemones and then been able to eliminate the suspect bacteria over time? Would a quarantine period without anemones in the system result in the elimination of the bacteria? And, how long would it take to eliminate the bacteria?

Thanks in advance...

I know Seachem Reef Dip is label'd to be safe for all corals and anemones.

"Reef Dipâ„¢ contains elemental iodine complexed to a protective slime coat for safely and gently disinfecting corals. It is effective against bacteria, fungus, and protozoans. It may be used prophylactically (without evidence of disease) or to remedy diseased specimens. It is safe to use with both stony and soft corals. It is also safe for anemones and polyps."
