Thank you, your setup is pretty awesome too.

The way you have your lights is my exact plan but I am going to paint the brackets flat black.

I used it at first. but stopped. If I had controllers all in the same location and same light I would start using it again.

I ran both controllers to the same spot so I am running night mode it seems to keep my regal tang happy while trying to sleep without being blow around into the rock work

I run both on night mode

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 using Tap Talk

I haven't messed around with night mode yet. I have one master and one slave on the opposite side of the tank. If I put the master in night mode will the slave be in night mode too? Or will I have to put them in night mode individually?

Thanks,
Chris

Dimmer worked. When I did mode 2 it got very hot and now it doesn't work at all. maybe if you don't ramp it up to 100% and don't dim much.
3 rw20 on a 225g is way to much. You can try 2 in mode 1 speed 1. Much more than that you'll be looking at a tidalwave.
I was able to return the rw20 and will have a rw15 here tomorrow.
I was able to get into night mode but didn't seem to do anything. Can you get into night mode with a reduced flow in mode 1?

I have my RW15's on my 180 both running in master. One runs in Else mode, the other on H1

Both are in night mode, and they go into H1 on low speed when they go into night mode

Both been working great

Logan at Reef Breeders did have to send me 2 new controllers when I bought them, because I have having issues. Now I don't with the new controllers

Good idea on the 2 modes, going to have to give that a try.

Have any of you noticed any metal corrosion on the magnet from sea water which will enter around the magnet before it gets seated to the glass? I just received an RW-4 and that's my main concern...............................Jim

Hey Jim I haven't seen any issues with my rw or wp pumps as far as rust or magnet issues. My WP40 ran for almost a year without any cleaning. I even pulled my rw suction cup apart by accident under water and no issues , maybe lucky though I hope some others will chime in.

Looking for a couple of powerheads for my 72" x 30" and 36" tall 330g FOWLR. Was thinking two RW-20's would probably be too much. Two RW-15's a better choice?
