Progression of my Red Planet under the Mitras

Great growth and polyp extension!!! I had a hard time trying to capture the true color of my Red Planet. Please keep updating!

Thank you! I do a lot of different things with my system than most people. I feed Pappone (D.I.Y. Italian coral food) through a D.I.Y. continuous feeder (for coral food) into my NPS/macro tank. There are two 30g NPS/macro tanks that are plumbed into my 40B and Eshopps R-200 sump (30g.) The 40B is SPS dominant and I run GHL Mitras LED's over it. T5's over the top NPS/macro tank. D.I.Y. GU10 LED's over the bottom 30g. I skim wet, have lots of different macro algae, run gfo and gac to cope with excess nutrients from continuous feeder. I don't bother turning off my skimmer as directed in the "recipe" since it's fed in small increments continuously. I add the amino acids to the recipe itself while blending instead of dosing them separately for max. PE. I don't follow the recipe to a "T." I also use whole/headon shrimp and only remove the shells. The recipe contains sugar, so technically I'm carbon dosing as well. Normally my phosphates are within .05-.09 range. I never strive for zero PO4 and NO3, as as lot of people do because I'd starve my Clams/macro's. Still trying to find an exact balance. Definitely still a noob, but this project/system is my baby and I can't wait to see what my franken-system can do long term.

Ooooooo nice!

Thanks!

Amazing can you share your project with me as I would like to see how my Sps react to it. The mitras is a great light but I am still learning how to adjust the LEDs.
Many thanks
Michael
