How long for LR in empty tank?

I am switching from a 120 to a 180. I have moved the sump with live rock in it. I have moved one Aquaclear 110 from one directly to the other. The tank is full and the sump is running. The water is heated. It will be a few more days before I can add the fish and rocks for the tank itself. How concerned should I be about die off of the live rock in the sump or die off in the filter sponge? The sump does have soot in it that was stirred up pretty good when it was moved. So there is some organic matter in there for the bacteria. But the sand is brand new.

When I moved my tank I make sure I keep the rock wet and remove any visible sponges. Did not have a cycle and added the fish back in right away. I did not reuse the sand other than use it to seeded the new sand.
If you worry just test your water of a cycle. As soon as the cycle is over you can add fish back in right away IMO/IME

did you use any of your original water or go 100% new water? I did the same thing but used as much of my original water as i could as well.

The rock and seeded sand is enough. Don't need to do the water too, but you can.
