Cowfish Twirling…

my husband recently gifted me a Cowfish. I’ve had it for about a two months now everything was going great until I had to treat him for ick. The cleared but today I noticed him twirling which is weird I’ve never seen him do that. I fed him and he ate but only a little bit mind you he loves eating especially mysis shrimp and his seaweed. Should I be concerned?

I don't have experience with Cowfish. However, I'd like to know more about the treatment. You treated the fish for Cryptocaryon irritans (Marine Ich)? Tell us the procedure (how long treated, treated in QT, etc.), chemical(s), and testing you used. Exactly how long did you have this fish before you saw Marine Ich?

What other marine life is in the tank? How long have you had this tank? Was the place the fish came from using copper or other preventative chemicals in their tanks?

Are you sure the fish hasn't any fin damage? A video longer than one minute under white light up close to the fish, showing both sides of the fish would be helpful. You can upload the video to YouTube then post the link to it here.

As long as the fish is eating something, I'd recommend feeding supplements as described in the Fish Nutrition document for an ill fish. Download the document and read through it, but especially the part about supplements for an ill fish.

A video and pics will be great. They are more known for bacterial infections rather than ich but positive id is must before treating accordingly.
