cleaning glass

Hello to all,

I am a s"stick my hands in the tank" kind of guy. I am keeping the back glass clean and I can do a really good job in the corners. I wipe my glass down about once a week. I have been using soft mitts that I bought at FAOIS. They are really made for acrylic tanks but they work pretty good on glass. When I get down into the crushed coral, they pick up little pieces of the crushed coral. I like to keep the glass clean down into crushed coral bed. At that point, I can not use them any more as I do not want to scratch the glass. The mitts cost about $5 each. I have tried using a seperate cloth or mitt to get down deep in the bed, but they still do not last long and these things are getting expensive. Does anybody have any other suggestions? What about a plain ol wash cloth?

Thanks,

Mike
