Just curious as to how you could rid a tank of copper that's been treated?
Would soaking in Muratic acid or something get it out or does it get into the silicone.
Diluted muriatic acid would be a good way to clean it, perhaps with a bleach rinse afterward in cases there are any organic materials stuck inside of it.
Letting it soak a couple of days is OK, but I wouldn't think you'd actually fill the tank. Even diluted 1:10, that's a lot of muriatic acid unless the tank is tiny.
