"Panacuring" macro algae

I'm just in the planning phase of this Dwarf mania. I won't be adding any "live" rock or sand, but I would like to add some macro algae. Can I Panacur some macro once I get it into my tank, or will the Panacur kill it?

I have never used panacur but I have read of folks that have and most macro algaes will tolerate it.
