Splitting a Carpet Anemone

After conditioning this carpet anemone I finally had the nerve to split it. It's been about week and it's doing great.

What did you do to condition the carpet?

Before I cut an anemone I condition the original specimen for a few months. (after that you can do them more frequently depending if conditions allow) I target feed several times weekly with small size meaty food. Keep the water quality up and provide good flow.

MAKE SURE you where gloves when making the bilateral cut. Don't worry...if you forget one time you certainly will remember for the rest of your life.
