Anyone Know Where to Get a Bonded or Even Mated Pair of GSM??

SkullV

They Got My Number
Well after another unsuccessful "date" with my my large GSM I am going to return the the new little one to the LFS after it has had a couple days in the breeder net to heal up or if they will not take it I will sell it. I am also going to sell my large Female and just try to purchase an already bonded pair.

Does anyone know anywhere to get a pair?

I don't know if they ship but I bet that Bioreef in Jacksonville, FL either has one or could get one for you.

I don't want to doubt your intro techniques but would you mind explaining exactly how you introduced the male into the tank? I've intro'd many a male and I'm about 8/10 maybe I can help before you give up.

in that case try inland aquatics (not too far from you in indiana and they ship)

Tried a breeder net introduction but the female ignored him, tried the clear specimen container in her territory and that seemed to be going ok so I released the male and she wrecked him. I'm sure with enough persistence I could get them to pair up, but I can still return the male and I hate seeing him get torn up.

I did find a pair that I will be picking up this weekend as long as I can find someone to purchase my female.

SkullV...my LFS is Inland Aquatics. They have a beautiful pair of GSM. Make the trip down...it's worth your while.

I would look on Divers Den or LiveAquaria.com Yesterday I believe I saw some in stock on one of the two sites.

+3 for Inland Aquatics. They have good healthy livestock, and it's worth the effort to get a CB pair. I've always been very pleased with the fish that I've gotten from them.

Thank's for all the help. I actually found a pair that I'm going to pick up either this week or next week. I just need someone to buy my female. She is listed on craigslist but I'm worried that no one will want her in her current state due to some fin damage from attempted pairing (it will 100% heal I am confident about that). I'm sure the LFS will take back the male.

I have a GSM mated pair I'm trading in to an LFS tomorrow. Female is 4", male is 2.5-3". Not worth the hassle of her bad attitudes. Beware!
