Deep depth Mantis shrimp?

Invert Sexy Time!
Was just wondering if anyone has ever found any really deep water mantis shrimp? I was watching one of the documentaries about deep sea life the other day and when they were taking about the importance of bioluminescence down there it made me think of Mantis shrimp eyes and such.

Makes me wonder if they have ever dredged up a mantis from the ultra deep or something related.

Bathysquilloidea occur quite deep. Altosquilla soelae can be found to a depth of 600 m. Bathysquilla microps is found even deeper - down to 1500 m. These species have greatly reduced eyes and are reasonably large with a total length up to 22 cm.

That's pretty awesome. Any chance you have some pictures? Checked your site and didn't see them listed, and google images is failing badly. haha.

Yeah thats what I did the first time but the results being listed were questionable at best as just a few pictures in it started showing pics of well known, commonly kept species and links back to here for things like ID's. lol.

Thanks!
