enriched brine or collecting food?

I have wanted to try raising some cuttles for a long time, but of course there is the issue of feeding them. I know mysis are the best food but i dont have any around here to buy in Canada and even if there was they would cost a ton.

I am about to start growing live brine shimp and so was wondering if grown on enriched with HUFAS brine would work at all as first foods?

I was also wondering about collecting amphipods, mysis or other such beach critters for them, but it is a long drive to the beach and they are cold water so would they live long enough in cold water for the cuttles to eat them? If anyone lives around Vancouver/White rock have you seen any wild mysis?

I tried the brine shrimp and mine would not eat them. They started with amphipods and moved quickly to ghost shrimp. They were capable of eating things bigger than they were so maybe there are some people with reef tanks in your area that can give you some amphipods. Good Luck and enjoy they are fun when they get older and take food from fingers.
