Hydros Maven Coming

As many of you know, I currently run an Apex. But, recently Hydros announced the Maven is coming. This will test Calcium, Magnesium, Alkalinity, Nitrate, and Phosphate.

No pricing or distribution date has been announced, however, according to CoralVue, the pricing will be released prior to the official unveiling at RAP Orlando. This is a stand alone unit so you won’t need any other hydros equipment to operate it except for their propietary reagents.

Depending on the price, I’d be very tempted to buy it.

Reefsupplies.ca has it “listed” at $743 CAD which is about $540 USD. If that’s the case, I’d strongly consider ordering one. If it’s $1000+ like every 5+ tester, I’d likely pass.

I didn't remember him either. Skipper was a hoot. Los always looked like he was having a good time. We were going out to lunch. There was about 15 people slammed into a little place ment to serve 10. Didn't work to well.

There is also the frenzy to get the next new thing for some people where they will pay twice list to get it first.

That’s my feeling as well. For $1200 I can buy a lot of coral and test my own levels.
