You won't want to miss this one! Charlie Mazel hasn't made a club presentation anywhere in our area before and w/ the live demonstration, this should be very interesting. Charlie is donating to the fundraiser the light and glasses for viewing fluorescence in the home aquarium: the Bluestar light

. Check out www.nightsea.com for more info on what Charlie will be speaking on and www.seabay.org for more meeting info.

As usual, there will be yummy refreshments served.

Hope to see you there on 5/20/06 at 7pm!

SEABay is setting up a 20-gallon tank for the demo. We are trying to put as wide a variety of critters in it as possible to maximize our chances of seeing multiple examples of fluorescence. All, or nearly all, of contents of the tank will be donated to the raffle held after the presentation.

Also included in the raffle will be one full registration to MACNA XVIII in Houston, TX for September 22-24, 2006! (Registration only - no travel or hotel). The prize value is $155!

Hope to see you there this Saturday evening!

It's confirmed - once again we will have Krispy Kreme donuts!

Hope to see some of you at Charlie's presentation and underwater fluorescence demo this evening!

Thanks SEABAY and Charles Mazel for a great meeting. The special flashlight and glasses are a must have. Especially if you have cats and dogs :eek2: oh.... they are also great for looking in the tank!! Pretty amazing.

Also, I want to thank everyone who brought in stuff for the raffle. I was really hoping to win some Reef Nutrition but I guess I'll just have to buy it. I did win this beautiful RBTA and a few other things though:

Although I have lots of BTA's, this one looks really nice and different from my others (mostly clones).

Thanks again!!

Glad you could attend!

The folks at Reed Mariculture have been generous at every SEABay meeting, so stay tuned for the one on July 15th w/ Fernando Nosratpour and it's likely you'll get another chance to win some of their products! My fish sure love the artic copepods! They are a sponsor here, so you could go to their forum and arrange to get some products or PM me and I'll give you contact info.
