Frank, I was wondering if you would be good enough to comment on your opinion on keeping a fish only tank and medicating. I have been told by a few that the only way to keep a fish only tank with healthy occuoants for any period of time is to constantly medicate the tank. Meaning, keep qa constant level of copper and anitbacterial medication in the water.
Is this correct? Does this help one to avoid quarantining sick fish? Does it help keep the fish from getting sick in the first place? Or are the risks of overmedicating too great? Is the act of pulling sick fish one by one and quarantining while medicating alone the best practice, even if it is alot less practical.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
