What is this???

A member of my local club has these popping up randomly in his tank. Trying to figure out what they are. It doesn't seem to have a skeleton so I think they're some type of corallimorph. Anyone know what they are?

I don't know but they're beautiful!!! =D Your friend is super lucky! Hopefully someone else can chime in who knows.

Definitely an LPS, looks like maybe an australomussa or one of the scolymia species that grow in colonies. Maybe an acan, or a small chance for a blastomussa wellsi, it really depends on the size of the polyps. I'd take a pic with the feeders closed and post it in the LPS forum
