Introduce yourself!!

Hi All,

I am one of the founding members and officers of the RMRC which was the predecessor to this club. I have not had time for a reef tank since I moved to Texas, after spending 42 years as a Denver native.

I was also a former moderator here at Reef Central and am still a moderator at Reefland.com

Good to see some of the old-timers are still on this board.

Regards,

Scott
Are you back in Denver or still in Texas?

Hello all,

I am Eric and live in Colorado Springs. I was bit with the "reef bug" about 1.5 years ago and started with a little 55 gallon that is now overgrown. I just purchased a 180 acrylic but the wife is not so happy with it as it doesn't have a "finished" stand or canopy. I may have to get rid of it and start over. Do you all have a "For Sale" forum? Either way, here are a few pics of my lil 55. Nice to meet you all...

55 looks nice. Isn't that hard to skin a rough finished stand and canopy.

[welcome]

Nice lookin tank.

I agree with Grim, is would be pretty easy to skin that stand you have. You can even involve the wife and ask her how she wants it, what color, what trim, what door handles...

Good news is the wife is letting me keep the 180! I will start a build thread soon... Have a great weekend! - Eric

There are plenty of deals to be had. You may even want to check out Josh (Jgonzz) he has an awesome collection of frags at great prices.

Hi I'm Chris and I'm a reefaholic. And today I'm happy my reef did'nt crash. I've been a reefaholic for about 4 years and have just recently admitted it to myself. I was hoping to find some local support for when the urges get really bad.

Im Alex. I began a five gallon saltwater in my dorm when I started college with three fish and softies (yes, it was successful haha) and now I have my own apartment and a 29 biocube. I really enjoy trading corals, I have a lot of frags and always looking for new coral for my tank. It is pretty cool lil reef tank with a clown. If anyone every wants to do some trading or is doing some cheap sells let me know!

Hi all,

My name is Michael. I just moved to Steamboat Springs, CO. I've set up a small 10g tank for now, but hope to upgrade to something more substantial in the near future. I haven't kept a marine aquariums for 3+years so it has been fun to discover how the hobby as evolved.

Nice to know there are other reefers in the area! Anyone near Steamboat Springs?

Cheers!
